Vanessa began her Massage Therapy Education at Suny Orange in Middletown, NY, graduating with an A.A.S. with Honors in 2005. In 2006, she pursued further studies in Shiatsu at the Ohashi Institute in Manhattan. In 2006, she also helped open the doors to Integral Nutrition, an Eastern Healing Arts Center, in Warwick, NY. Here, she was trained in Ginger Compress Application. From 2008- 2010, she was the Lead Instructor for Shiatsu and Hydrotherapy at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Mount Kisco, NY. She was an integral contributor to the curriculum development of the Shiatsu I and II courses and introduced Ginger Compress to the Hydrotherapy coursework. In 2008, Vanessa was first introduced to Cold Laser Therapy. Since then, she has experienced and witnessed success for conditions including burns, strains, fractures, energy blocks, infections, adhesions, scar tissue, arthritis. In 2013, she purchased an Erchonia PL 5000. Vanessa integrates principles of shiatsu, myofascial release, and neuromuscular therapy into her sessions. She is also currently beginning to incorporate kinesio taping into her practice.
When she is not treating patients, Vanessa most cherishes the time she shares with her daughters dancing, riding bikes, swimming, and gardening.
