Deep Tissue Massage
Our therapists utilize deep tissue techniques for chronic pain and rehabilitation of repetitive, work related, motor vehicle, and sports related injuries. Deep tissue massage is not performed to the entire body, but rather to specific areas of pain, stiffness, and restriction. These techniques release adhesions in the myofascia by working in between the muscle fibers and into deeper muscle layers. Also influencing the proper rebuilding of tissue and muscle after injury, deep tissue techniques are very beneficial for optimal healing. Our goal is to decrease pain, restrictions, and stiffness, and increase mobility and quality of life. It is not uncommon to be sore for a day or two after a deep tissue massage.
The acupuncturist and massage therapists skillfully provide relief and healing from my sports injuries and chronic pain. The office staff is always friendly, helpful, and patient. -Nancy
Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is very effective for reducing stress and anxiety while promoting blood and lymph flow, relaxation of muscles and nerves, and body awareness. Our therapists use a combination of kneading, rolling, vibrational, circular, and long sweeping strokes in our sessions. The pressure can vary from light to moderate dependent on the client’s comfort and needs. If you have never had a massage before, this is a great place to start!

Sports Massage
When you are consistently pushing yourself in training or working out, your muscles require a chance to heal and relax. Injury prevention and recovery is the target of this technique. The focus of a sports massage is to get you “back in the game” as soon as possible, and able to provide your peak performance.
Prenatal Massage
When you are expecting, your body experiences all kinds of aches, pains, and swelling. Massage can relieve these issues! Your massage therapist will position your body so that you and your baby feel supported and soothed. There is no better way to lower your blood pressure and lighten the emotional and physical stresses of pregnancy than massage.
