Born and raised in Oregon, Dr. Michael Simele is a board certified chiropractic physician, Functional Release (FR®) provider, and a corrective exercise specialist. He graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science. His love of exercise and health led him to Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. During his time at Palmer, he provided care to people from various walks of life, from the athletes with the Palmer West Sport Council to the underprivileged with the Palmer outreach program.
A lifelong athlete, Dr. Simele understands how an injury preventing you from your favorite activities can be frustrating. To get you back to playing or gardening as quickly as possible, he uses a variety of techniques such as chiropractic manipulation, Functional Release and Range Conditioning, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, and corrective exercises. His diversified approach aims to treat the cause of the injury and allow patients to stay active in their recovery.
In his free time, Dr. Simele loves to spend time with his wife, family, and friends. He also enjoys playing basketball, weightlifting, spending time exploring the great outdoors, and trying new foods.
